Help Dany raise money

My name is Dany and this year will be my fourth year running the Falmouth Road Race, my second year running for Recovery Without Walls ❤️ The Falmouth Road Race is honestly one of my favorite days of the year because of the mental challenge it is. I can’t express the gratitude I feel running for this organization and here’s why:

During this summer I have not slowed down with school or really anything if I’m being honest. So I just completed a trauma treatment and recovery course and hyper focused on treatments such as EMDR and holistic approaches outside of talk therapy to really understand more about trauma informed approaches and how to heal trauma. My professor challenged me, myself to explore some of these methods and it has been so impactful. What I have learned has completely blown my mind on how the body holds onto events in different ways then the brain. Trauma creates barriers between the right and left sides of the brain and even after talk therapy the body can still be disconnected. Methods outside of talk therapy can be utilized for people finding their safe space connecting their bodies and minds. And some of these methods are provided by this organization for free for woman in recovery.
