I'm excited to be running the Falmouth Road Race this year for Project Sweet Peas! Project Sweet Peas is a non-profit organization who provides support to families of premature or sick infants and to those who have been affected by pregnancy and infant loss.
I will be running the race in honor of my daughter Olivia who was born prematurely at 28 weeks in 2019. At birth, Olivia weighed 1 pound 11 ounces. She spent 117 days in the BIDMC NICU where she received top notch care. During this long stay we were gifted many care packages from Project Sweet Peas especially during Olivia’s first Christmas! Every Christmas Olivia loves hanging the “NICU key” that reminds Santa to visit all the babies in the NICU just like she was! We are forever grateful to the amazing staff at the BIDMC NICU who cared for her and all of our family. Olivia is now a thriving happy little girl!
Please join me in raising funds to support parents and their babies who are currently in a NICU. Thank you for supporting a cause that is near and dear to our hearts.
