My Story…
My three kids are the reason behind everything I do. But it's my middle son, Massimo, who truly lives up to his name, which means "The Greatest." Born at just 25 weeks and 2 days, Massimo came into this world as a tiny fighter, weighing only 2 lbs. I watched him battle for survival during the tough 4+ months in the NICU. His determination and strength have never faded – he shows incredible resilience every day.
Massimo’s journey has taught me what real strength is. This lesson drives my passion to help other families going through the NICU experience. Supporting others during such tough times is incredibly fulfilling for me. My family got amazing support from Project Sweet Peas and the wonderful caregivers at Beth Israel, and I want to give back in the same way.
Giving back the kindness and help we received is something I always strive for. Providing comfort and assistance to families during their tough times, just like we once needed, is a heartfelt mission for me. It’s a way to honor Massimo's strength and the incredible support we were lucky to have.
