I am excited to share with you an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of students from the Watts neighborhood in Southern Los Angeles. I am training and preparing to participate in the 2024 ASICS Falmouth Road Race, and I am reaching out to you for your support in raising funds for the Watts 2 Boston Foundation.

Watts 2 Boston is an incredible organization that works tirelessly to uplift and empower high school students preparing to begin their college journey from the Watts neighborhood in Southern Los Angeles. For far too long, this community has faced systemic challenges and barriers to success. However, through the transformative power of education and mentorship, Watts 2 Boston is changing the narrative for these children.

My journey with Watts 2 Boston began during my graduate studies in the TCU Criminology and Criminal Justice program. Through this program, I had the privilege of visiting the Watts community and meeting with families, students, and educators who have been touched by the remarkable work of Watts 2 Boston. Witnessing firsthand the dedication and passion of the individuals involved in this foundation deeply moved me, and I knew I wanted to do whatever I could to contribute to their cause.

By participating in the ASICS Falmouth Road Race, I am raising funds to help support Watts 2 Boston's mission of guiding students from Watts on their path to and through college. Your generous donations will directly contribute to providing educational resources, mentorship programs, and scholarships that will open doors of opportunity for these deserving young individuals.

Every step I take during the marathon will be fueled by the knowledge that together, we are making a difference in the lives of these children. Your support, whether big or small, will have a profound impact and will help to create brighter futures for the youth of Watts.
