My Story…

Hi everyone! I am beyond happy to announce that for the third year in a row, I will be running the Falmouth Road Race! This time, I have convinced my sister Jenna to run alongside me. We will do so in honor of our dad Jay, who lost his battle to cancer back in 2013. We are so thrilled to be joining and raising money for Tommy’s Place foundation team.

Tommy’s Place is an incredible organization that offers a vacation home on Cape Cod for kids who are battling cancer. Knowing that it takes a village, Tommy’s Place allows for children and their friends/families to spend a week of quality time together, all while completely free of charge. Having first hand seen the effects that cancer has on a close loved one, we are so honored to be a part of this team and what it stands for.

One of the rooms in Tommy’s Place is named after Liesl Radzik, a dear friend of ours who also courageously lost her battle to cancer. It is with great pride that we are also able to run in her memory. We will be keeping her mantra “Because Nice Matters” in the back of our minds, while we make our way to the finish line and remember what brought us here.

Any donation is greatly appreciated and all proceeds go directly towards relieving the financial burdens of the families who stay here at Tommy’s Place. Thank you!
