My Story…

Hello all!

Excited to announce that we're gearing up to run for Tommy’s Place at the 2024 ASICS Falmouth Road Race! Ariana, Matt, Maura and I have been long time friends and are so happy to put our efforts forth for such a great cause. Tommy’s Place is all about making dreams come true for kids and families battling cancer, providing much-needed quality time away from the struggles of reality. Tommy’s Place offers two locations on cape for these special families to vacation for one week expense free. Our dear friend Liesl Radzik has her own room at the Falmouth location, adorned with her mantra: 'Because Nice Matters.' Join us as we strive to embody that spirit of kindness and give back to those in need.

Tommy's Place Opens Second Location!!

Tommy's Place owns and operates two 10+ bedroom year-round magical vacation homes for kids fighting cancer.  The homes are located in Falmouth and Centerville on Cape Cod. One family at a time, along with their extended family and friends, visits for a one week, free of charge, dream vacation to relax, make memories and most importantly have FUN!

Tommy's Place homes are equipped with inground swimming pools, game rooms, movie theatres, home taverns, arts + crafts rooms, music rooms, chef's kitchens, and much, much more.  A magical experience for the entire family! 
 
Since opening in July of 2021, over 175 families have vacationed at one of the Tommy's Place homes. In 2024, Tommy's Place will begin to offer magical vacations to 104 families per year at its two vacation homes. Tommy's Place receives guest referrals from 11 New England children's hospitals and all families are placed through a lottery system. Guests are aged 3-17, actively being treated for pediatric cancer, and living permanently and full-time in New England.
