Help Alexander raise money

I'm running the 2024 Falmouth Road Race to raise money for Bishstrong Foundation, Inc.  

The Bishstrong Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which aims to inspire and encourage individuals with spinal cord injuries and/or limited mobility issues to remain active.  DJ Bishop, my cousin, created the Foundation in 2023 because he wants to help people who have suffered from a spinal cord injury and others living with paralysis.  Don't take my word for it.  Hear it straight from him:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_kIoeruxBI&t=2922s 

DJ suffered a spinal cord injury on Memorial Day Weekend in 2016 that left him paralyzed from the upper chest down.  In the eight years since his injury, DJ has improved his own mobility through consistent physical therapy at home and at Journey Forward in Canton, MA.  But more importantly, DJ has become a leader in the spinal cord injury community.  Now, he seeks to help others who have suffered spinal cord injuries through his Foundation by providing grants that will help paralyzed individuals purchase adaptive equipment they need to remain active, stay healthy, and live fulfilling lives.

I wear a prosthesis on my left leg because I don't have a left foot.  My left foot was amputated when I was nine months old as a result of a congenital birth defect (fibular hemimelia).  I learned early in my life that the cards that life deals you do not matter--what matters is how you play the hand.  This mantra has guided me throughout my life.  It guided me as I competed against my cousin DJ in sports growing up as a kid.  Over the past eight years, my cousin DJ has brought new meaning to this mantra and inspired me and countless others.  Now, I'm honored to be part of DJ's and Bishstrong Foundation's race team for the 2024 Falmouth Road Race.
