I'm running the 52nd ASICS Falmouth Road Race for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation
Year EIGHT running Falmouth as a member of Team JAF! It is an honor to be a part of such a great organization, doing so much good for individuals and families struggling with a cancer diagnosis and treatment. JAF has expanded its reach and support with additional programs in the past couple of years. Plus, I get to run with my friend for life, Fiore! Description
JAF is committed to providing assistance to patients of all ages, any cancer, throughout New England who are struggling financially due to a cancer diagnosis. JAF understands that everyday living expenses don’t stop because of a diagnosis, and JAF provides various programs to help patients make ends meet. Because patients and families must often devote all their energy and resources toward treatment, the Foundation helps alleviate financial and emotional stress by providing grants to assist with rent/mortgage, transportation to treatment, food, and more. Through our Assistance Programs and Wellness Assistance, the grant recipients can focus on their cancer treatment and not the financial distress that comes with it.
