My Story…
On Sunday, August 18th, I'll be running in the 2024 Falmouth Road Race to raise funds for the Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund.
The Ouimet Fund's mission is to provide need-based scholarships to young men and women who have worked at golf courses in Massachusetts. Scholarships are renewable and worth an average of $40,000 over the course of four years, with some students receiving as much as $80,000. The Fund has awarded $50 Million to more than 6,600 scholars since 1949, making it the largest independent scholarship fund in New England.
This organization helped me greatly in college, and I try to remain as active as I can to help and support its efforts. If you are able to do so, and would like to help out, I'd greatly appreciate anything you're willing to donate toward my fundraising goal.
