It’s the greatest day of the summer again!! The Falmouth Road Race has always been a favorite of mine and I’m lucky enough to be able to run for the 7th time again with Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod! About Habitat of Cape Cod:
Habitat Cape Cod has built over 180 homes in 35 years! We celebrated our 35th year anniversary last year. We have built in all 15 towns on Cape Cod.
Families purchase their homes with an affordable mortgage of $650-$750 per month.
There is a rider on the deed making each home affordable in perpetuity. We are creating a sustaining resource.
Each adult that is going to live in the home must complete 250 sweat equity hours on their home.
We are building 2 homes in Brewster right now. We plan to start building 4 homes in Dennis and 4 homes in Wellfleet this fall!

Habitat Cape Cod partners with families in need of an affordable home to build one of their own; fostering stability, self-reliance and a strong sense of community.
Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod has developed over 180 affordable homes on Cape Cod. Local families help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Homes are deed restricted to remain affordable in perpetuity. With the support of Habitat and community contributors, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.
