Help Neetu raise money

I am so honored to have been asked to run the Falmouth Road Race this August in support of the KeepSmilin4Abbie Foundation.  As many of you know, I am a mother of three super sweet boys, all whom have each had multiple anaphylactic allergies their whole lives.  Raising these boys to navigate the world confidently and safely with their food allergies is job #1 for my husband and I.  As they learn their ABC's, our boys learn how to spell the names of their allergens, how to call 911, and how to tell anyone offering them food to "please check with my mom or dad first." As they get older, we teach each of them about the signs of anaphlyaxis, train them monthly on how administer an epi-pen, and how to become adept ingredient readers. They learn to cook safely, how to avoid cross-contamination and most importantly, how to advocate for themselves.   

This is the first summer in recent history our family is not having our annual "Cape escape" vacation.  The Cape is our happy place, but last summer, one of my boys suffered a bi-phasic anaphylactic reaction  after being served one of his allergens at a Cape Cod restaurant he had safely eaten at several times before.  He has refused to step foot on the Cape again because this experience was very challenging for him.  I'm trying to make this a place of happy memories for him and his brothers again, and running this race back on the Cape for a cause that benefits them is how I plan to start that story.
