Team Eye and Ear Falmouth 2024
Mass Eye & Ear is a world-renowned specialty hospital focused on disease and conditions of the eyes, ears, throat, head and neck...and it also the place that saved my life. When I had a sore throat that developed into a swollen lump on the right side of my throat in 2022, I sought opinion after opinion all over Boston to figure out what was wrong. After 5 opinions over the course of two months, Mass Eye & Ear ENT, Dr. Wais Rahmati, diagnosed me with a rare cancer - rhabdomyosarcoma. If it weren't for his expertise, training, swift action and compassion, it surely would have metastasized. Turning to Mass Eye & Ear and landing in his care was one of the best things I ever did for myself. My tumor was very difficult to treat, and I was (and still am) followed closely by Dr Mark Varvares, who is my lifeline. The care I receive at MEE is incomparable and is the standard I wish for any patient dealing with anything ENT related or head & neck oncology related.
