My Story…
Hi everyone!
My name is Lauren and this is my first year joining the Girls on the Run Greater Boston team for the Falmouth Road Race. As a Gamma Phi Beta alumna from Boston University, GOTR is a cause very near and dear to my heart! Our sorority is the exclusive philanthropic partner of GOTR, and during my time at BU, my sisters and I worked closely with the Boston chapter to fundraise for girls in the greater Boston area. It brings me so much joy to have a chance to continue the mission of building strong girls and giving opportunities for young girls to build healthy habits — and most importantly — find confidence! I'm reaching out to ask if you would consider supporting my run and more importantly, the continued efforts of GOTR. Any amount is greatly appreciated and makes a huge difference!!!! This one is for strong girls!!
Again - thank you so so much!
Lauren💗
Description
Girls on the Run is more than a running program. Through GOTR's program, trained coaches implement the research-based curriculum that builds lifelong healthy habits. Girls learn the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of physical activity, as well as tools for navigating the challenges of adolescence. Each season concludes with a 5K event where the girls run at their own pace, giving them a sense of achievement and a framework for setting and achieving life goals.
