I'm thrilled to once again support TEAM END ALZ, running in the iconic Falmouth Road Race on Sunday, August 18, 2024.

My mom, Kathie, died on July 7, 2023.  Doctors diagnosed her with Alzheimers disease in late 2015, but in hindsight we realized that she had likely suffered symptoms for several years before. 

I run for the Alzheimer's Association....because while I can't take back my own mother's hardships or the financial and emotional toll of her disease on our family, I can advocate for federal funding to back research.  Support advances in drug development. Educate others on the early signs and where to get help. Hope for a day in which an Alzheimers patient can improve, maybe even survive it. 

All of these things take money.  

When I was a member of the Boston Marathon Team END ALZ in 2020 and 2021, you supported those efforts to the tune of nearly $30,000!  The goal this time is more modest, but your support is no less important.  Thank you for your support of the good work of the Alzheimer's Association.
