My Story…
Hello everybody long time benefactor, first time being able to really give back to the Falmouth veterans support community! After 21 years of active Air Force service including 4 deployments I know just how awesome this community is in it’s unwavering support for all of its service vets in their various times of their lives, from being down range and barely having mail service or even showers, to transitioning into civilian life or just bettering oneself with their scholarship programs, the people making up this core group are second to none. No other town that I am aware of (and I’ve kept my ears open when I talk about this topic to other service members) has such a robust and well rounded repertoire of support.
With the winding down of the GWOT, they saw a need to increase the end of service/veteran support and focusing a holistic approach to reducing the tragic statistics of the 22 service members who decide to end their life per day in this country.
I am also extremely proud of the Falmouth/Cape business communities in their incredibly generous donations of skills, materials, and monetary donations. In fact, “incredibly generous” is but a minuscule description that barely scratches the surface to describe their overwhelming support.
I am raising this money because even though the building is coming along 100x nicer than I could have ever imagined, there are still the small things and basic operating costs that are going to add up quickly in the coming months.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart if you have made it this far and further choose to donate. I am a firm believer in “many hands make light work”, so with your help no matter how large or small, you can make a difference!
Thank You!
