I am very excited to participate again in the Falmouth Road Race on 8/10 this year. Most know of my brother Bob's family cancer tragedies. For 4+ years, Bob trekked back & forth to & from Rockland & Children's Hospital for John & Robbie's surgeries & treatments. It was an emotional, mental & financial strain on he & his family.
For 10 years now I have been blessed & honored to serve as a weekly volunteer at my favorite house, The Boston House. TBH provides a home-away-from-home for children & families going thru cancer treatment at DFCI/Jimmy Fund. It is a safe haven, a comforting shelter from the dreadful storm their lives are in.
I love what I do & will continue as long as I can to hopefully provide a moment away from the journey these families are on. I am hoping you can support my walk in the FRR to help continue the amazing work of TBH. Any donation makes a difference.
