My Story…
Cassie Ramos is a working mom living in Randolph with her 2 children and husband. Cassie is a passionate advocate for early education and youth development. Having witnessed firsthand the transformative power of education in her own life, she is deeply committed to ensuring that every child has access to quality learning opportunities from the start.
In her early professional life as an educator and as a mother with school-age children, Cassie has seen the potential that lies in every child and believes in the importance of nurturing this potential through early education. Through her DE&I effort woven throughout her career as an immigration attorney and now as an HR consultant, Cassie has dedicated her time and effort to this cause, working tirelessly to create inclusive, engaging, and effective learning environments for children and adults of all backgrounds.
Now, Cassie is taking her commitment to this cause one step further by running in the upcoming race to raise funds for South Shore Stars, a non-profit focused on early education and youth development. She is not only running to support South Shore Stars' mission but also to raise awareness about the critical importance of investing in our children's education from an early age.
Through her participation in the race, Cassie hopes to inspire others to join in this cause, because she believes that when we invest in our children's education, we are investing in the future of our society. She is running not just for the finish line, but for every child who deserves the chance to learn, grow, and thrive.
Description
Support Team Stars in the 2024 Falmouth Road Race and help us reach our goal of $8,000 or more in making childcare affordable for every family and child on the South Shore! Your fundraising efforts will play a crucial role in fulfilling our mission and creating a brighter future for the 1,300 children, youth, and families we serve each year.
At Stars, our mission is to provide comprehensive early education and youth development programs that enhance the optimal growth of children from economically and culturally diverse families.
In the fall of 2024, we will open the doors to Stars School & Learning Center, located at 163 Libbey Parkway, Weymouth. This first-of-its-kind educational institution will cater specifically to students in grades 1-5 who exhibit language-based learning differences such as dyslexia as well as co-occurring conditions like ADHD.
By supporting Team Stars in the 2024 Falmouth Road Race, your donation directly contributes to our mission and helps make a meaningful impact on the lives of children, youth, and families Stars serves in the South Shore community.
Thank you for supporting Team Stars and our commitment to excellence in education, enrichment, and family support.
