My Story…
In my 4th time running this race, I am beyond proud to be representing Team Brigham. Not only was I born at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and plan to deliver my first (in October) there, it’s also the place that saved my husbands life. If not for this hospital, and their Stem Cell Research Fund, my husband wouldn’t be alive today. After getting diagnosed with Lymphoma in 2009, going through remission and back, his best chance at survival was to get a stem cell transplant. After receiving this transplant, he has now been healthy for almost 14 years. For this, I am eternally grateful for the Brigham team and the resources and support they provide. This is a small gesture of thanks to show to them, and hope you can consider donating to this incredible fund.
Thank you 🙏🏽
