Why this is important to me!
Being a firefighter for almost 29 years has been a rewarding and satisfying career. It is a fact that firefighters have a much higher risk of getting cancer than the general public. But, we all have had friends and family diagnosed with cancer, some with positive outcomes and sadly others have not been so fortunate.
Detectogether is a nonprofit that fills a gap in healthcare by providing a lifesaving 3 Step Detect early cancer detection program for young adults, first responders and workplace employees. Early detection is an advantage we all deserve.
