My Story…
Brain Injury is near and dear to my heart and I am proud to run for The Brain Injury Association of MA. In 2020 my dad was in a car accident and suffered a brain injury. After long weeks in the hospital he was transferred to Spaulding Rehab in Charlestown to the Brain Injury floor for rehab. The love and care he received there was eye opening to the population of those with brain injuries and the unique care they need. While always interested in healthcare, after my dads experience, I knew I wanted to be hands on helping patients, and I went to nursing school and became a nurse. My journey came full circle, when a job opportunity on the same floor at Spaulding Rehab where my dad was a patient opened up. I eagerly accepted the job and have been working there ever since. I enjoy coming to work everyday helping patients like my dad. With your support, we can help those with brain injuries by making their recovery as smooth as possible. I am so excited to run for this wonderful cause!
