Hi, All!

I am excited to share that this summer on August 18th, 2024, I will be running my first ever Falmouth Road Race! Growing up on the cape, it has always been a goal of mine to run for a cause that brings hope and resources to those in need. I am honored that this year, I get an opportunity to run in support for the Bishstrong Foundation!

The Bishstrong foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to inspire and encourage individuals with spinal cord injuries and limited mobility issues to remain active. With more than 18,000 spinal injuries a year, the financial burden on individuals and their families becomes taxing and as a result makes it difficult to support medical equipment for rehabilitation. For this reason, DJ Bishop created the Bishstrong Foundation!

DJ Bishop created this non-profit after suffering from a severe spinal cord injury in 2016 during a diving incident. His strong will and perseverance during his rehabilitation has brought him the courage to create this foundation in hopes to inspire others around the country to those carrying a lifestyle as him.

With gratitude, I had the honor of meeting DJ Bishop through my close friend, Aubrianne Buckley and her Husband, Ryan Feeney. In hearing his story and strength to overcome adversity, I became deeply inspired to run for his cause in support of those who face similar challenges and yearn for a better way of life.

I am excited to join DJ and the Bishstrong team in this years yearly Falmouth Road Race and hope to inspire those to do the same in years to come!
