I am so happy to be supporting the local Falmouth Youth Hockey League for this year's road race!
Hockey is a sport I love dearly (Go Bruins!), and I have been in skates since mini-mites. Children have such invaluable opportunities for learning and growth in youth sports. Hockey teaches children to believe in themselves, that hard work and determination will allow you to be whoever you want to be! Lessons of teamwork, resiliency, wellbeing, and many others — all of which I continue to carry with me today.
It is an honor to run the race for Falmouth Youth Hockey, and I hope to give other children the kind of experience I was able to have as a young skater :)
