My Story…
Hi everyone! This August, my brother Billy and I will be running the Falmouth Road Race on Team Cell Phones For Soldiers. Cell Phones for Soldiers was founded in 2004 by our cousins and has since provided more than 400 million minutes worth of talk time to connect active duty service members abroad with their families back home. In January of 2024, Cell Phones for Soldiers Mobile was launched as a new initiative for economically challenged service members and veterans to stay connected with family and friends, services provided by the VA, and other organizations in their local communities such as mental health services, employment opportunities, telehealth appointments, VA Homes, and other essential veteran services.
Billy and I will be running in Falmouth in support of our cousins’ nonprofit. We’re asking, if you are able, for donations to also help support CPFS. 100% of proceeds will be used to help fund CPFS Mobile Program. A $30 donation can provide a low income or homeless veteran with free phone service for one month. A $70 donation provides a low income or homeless veteran with a one time free cell phone! Any and all donations are very appreciated by Billy and I. Now we train to run 7 miles!
