Help Daniel raise money

For those that may not know me, my name is Dan Murphy. I will be competing this year in the Falmouth Road Race as a member of Team Heroes In Transition, or “HIT” for short! Heroes In Transition, Inc. is a veteran assistance organization founded in 2009 with the purpose of aiding military members and their families in the shift from military to civilian life. 

On paper, the mission is simply that. The impact, however, is far more striking than any amount of words I could piece together.

I have experienced HIT’s community from both sides of the plate—as a civilian and as a serviceman. Let it be known that the sense of love, meaning and community that I have felt as a result of sharing my time with the individuals involved has flooded my soul with the deepest contentment and, unabashedly, my eyes with the ever-so-odd tear.

If you would like to give more than well wishes, I ask that you please consider donating to my fundraising campaign. All proceeds go directly to Heroes In Transition, Inc. and will be turned into the tools necessary to ease the struggle of those coping with the life-altering shift.

If you choose to leave your name, I have pledged to run with each and every donor’s name stamped to the shirt I will be wearing on race day. Consider it an unofficial contract, even if I have to stamp “Anonymous” a hundred times!
