The Falmouth Road Race is fast approaching and once again I am grateful to be running that 7.2 mile route from Woods Hole all the way to Falmouth Heights with Team End ALZ to help raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association.
The Alzheimer’s Association’s mission is to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
I will continue to support this mission by continuing to run in honor of my two grandmothers Ann DiGiusto and Paula Manter. As always, I also run for family members, my friends family members, and all the caretakers that have lived the many ups and downs of this heart breaking disease.
