Help Cassidy raise money

Hi everyone, 

My name is Cassidy and I am NOT a runner. With that being said, I have set a goal for myself to become a runner. I am challenging myself to become this so that I can become a better and stronger version of myself. I have decided to run, raise funds, and awareness with the Parkinson's Champions. Parkinsons disease hits close to home for myself and my boyfriend. Kierans mother Angie got diagnosed with Parkinsons a few years ago and it has been extremely difficult. Ang has faced many challenges with this disease but she has never lost hope. She continues to fight every day while still showing up for her family and rarely ever asking for help. Ang is a mother, a wife, a daughter, a friend, a nurse. She is everything I look up to and want to be like. I desperately want to run this race in honor of her. 

The Parkinsons Foundation continue to provide life-changing support to people living with Parkinson’s and their caregivers, fund game-changing research on treatment and care, and convene the best minds from every corner of the global Parkinson’s community to find new approaches that enhance care and move us closer to a cure.
