My Story…
A couple of years ago, I ran my first Falmouth Road race as a part of the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation (NPF) team in memory of my Nana and Uncle who had lost their fight to Pancreatic Cancer within 5 years of one another.
Since then, I have witnessed friends and their love ones struggle with this devastating disease as well, reinforcing the need for better treatment and continued research.
What I was unaware of until my family was directly affected by Pancreatic Cancer, is that it is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the US - often going undiagnosed until late stages of the disease. That is why the work that NPF does is so important. Funds donated will support NPF in critical research, advocating for new therapies, and providing essential support and education for patients and their family.
Please help me in raising money for such a important cause. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference in the fight against Pancreatic Cancer! Thank you in advance for your support!
