OUR FINISH LINE SAYS ALS DONE!
I am excited to announce that I will be running this year’s Falmouth Road Race with team ALS ONE. This is something I have wanted to be a part of for a very long time, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to be on such an amazing team. ALS ONE is an organization that fundraises and promotes research for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) while also providing equipment and resources to individuals living with ALS today.
This cause is especially near and dear to my heart as my grandmother, Bonnie Prophett-Surette, suffered from this heartbreaking disease and sadly passed. Although I did not get to spend as much time with my grandmother as I would have liked, I still feel a deep connection to her. I know her compassion, resilience, kindness, and adventurous spirit, all through my mother Jennifer Prophett Allen. She embodies the very best of Bonnie, and I hope to do the same.
ALS One and their partners provided my family with the specialized equipment needed to care for Bonnie. With their help, we were able to give my grandmother the best possible care and support during her battle with ALS. I will be running in her honor, aiming to fundraise $1,000 to give back to a community that has already given my family so much.

Your support means the world to me and to all of us and will help to advance critical research at MGH, UMass Medical School, and ALS TDI, while providing essential equipment such as lifts, ramps, wheelchairs and assistive technology devices to individuals currently living with ALS via our care team at Compassionate Care ALS - all incredible partners that make up ALS ONE.
