My Story…
Hi Everyone! I'm running the Falmouth Road Race this year to raise money for the Journey to Parenthood Foundation. This organization means a lot to me because their goal is to help people who are struggling with infertility.
As many of you know, I had my own challenges when it came to starting a family. After almost a year of trying to conceive naturally, we made the decision to seek help at Boston IVF. We were just beginning the process and trying to wrap our heads around next steps when I found out I actually got pregnant naturally. Unfortunately, a few weeks later, the pregnancy ended in a miscarriage as so many pregnancies do. We decided to hold off on any advanced fertility treatments after learning I could get pregnant naturally. A few months later, we were so lucky to get pregnant with our beautiful baby girl Harper!
It was an extremely eye opening experience into how many people struggle with infertility, the emotional roller coaster associated with it, and how it can come with a huge price tag.
Now, we are a family of 4 with 2 beautiful girls (Harper 4 and Mia 2). I hope everyone's story has a happy ending like ours did. I'm raising money to help people build the families of their dreams. Any amount will help, so please consider donating. Thank you for your support!
