As an avid hockey fan and former intern for the Boston Bruins, I've witnessed firsthand the incredible impact sports can have beyond the game. The charitable work of athletes like Shawn Thornton inspired me, and now I'm thrilled to join Thorty's team to support causes that are deeply personal to me.
Throughout my life, I have experienced the devastating effects of various cancers and Parkinson's disease, losing beloved family members along the way. The Shawn Thornton Foundation is dedicated to helping find cures for diseases close to Shawn's heart, specifically, Parkinson's and cancer. The Foundation will work towards this mission by raising awareness, funding innovative research and helping to relieve the burden and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
