I'm running the 52nd ASICS Falmouth Road Race for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation
On August 18th, I will be running the 2024 Falmouth Road Race for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation. The Joe Andruzzi Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to providing help, hope, and a reason to smile, for New England cancer patients and their families by contributing financial support when it is needed most. I am a rising Senior at Nichols College running long distance on both the Cross Country and Track & Field Teams and I am honored to be running for the JAF team for the third time. No donation is too little and anything helps. Thank you all so much for the support!
Description
JAF is committed to providing assistance to patients of all ages, any cancer, throughout New England who are struggling financially due to a cancer diagnosis. JAF understands that everyday living expenses don’t stop because of a diagnosis, and JAF provides various programs to help patients make ends meet. Because patients and families must often devote all their energy and resources toward treatment, the Foundation helps alleviate financial and emotional stress by providing grants to assist with rent/mortgage, transportation to treatment, food, and more. Through our Assistance Programs and Wellness Assistance, the grant recipients can focus on their cancer treatment and not the financial distress that comes with it.
