My Story
I am running the Falmouth Road Race for the Vanessa T. Mascotte Foundation. This beautiful young woman was taken from her loved ones, one town over from my parents house. A small town where tragedies like hers were unthinkable. Before and since, there have been TOO MANY stories of women being assaulted while trying to enjoy our beloved sport. I support this cause because enough is enough. We must empower our fellow running sisters and work to change our violent culture. As a society we can and must do better for our daughters, sisters, mothers, friends. If this speaks to you, please give what you can. I promise to run with all I've got! đź’—

Please support my charity run for the Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation. Together, we can help create a safer world. The Foundation works to decrease objectification and violence, and to promote safety awareness and gender equality. It furthers its mission of empowering women to live boldly and fearlessly by providing vital resources, personal safety training and educational opportunities, as well as through partnerships with like-minded organizations to address the root causes of violence against women.
