Hi All,
I am running the Falmouth Road Race to support The Boston House: Hope & Healing for Children with Cancer. The Boston House serves as a home away from home for children with Cancer who are receiving treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children's Hospital. The Boston House provides conveniently located accommodations at no cost to up to 22 families at a time. The Boston House provides a safe space for children with Cancer to rest, recover, and have a sense of normalcy away from the hospital. Some notable facts about the Boston House:
The Boston House can serve up to 22 families a night, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
The Average length of stay at The Boston House in 2023 was 11 days at $0 cost for families, allowing families experiencing childhood cancer to save around $2,640
The Boston House serves around 100 families a year on average from all over the United States and other countries.
