Description
IMPACT Melanoma is a national non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the incidence of melanoma through education, prevention and support. They offer a range of educational programs to spread awareness. These programs include Your Skin Is In, a program teaching high school, middle school and college students the importance of protecting their skin and the dangers of tanning; The Skinny On Skin, educating salon and spa professionals to recognize potential melanomas on their clients' skin; Practice Safe Skin, providing free sunscreen to communities for their beaches, parks, sports fields and more; Safe Skin at Work, to create a workplace culture and policies that promote sun safety for outdoor workers; and No Sun For Babies, providing new parents UPF clothing and sun safety tips needed to protect their newborns from ultraviolet light. IMPACT Melanoma also offers support for patients and their caregivers through Support Groups and its one-on-one Billy's Buddies program.
Team IMPACT is participating to raise awareness about the importance of protecting your skin and raise funds to support its mission. Together we can make an IMPACT!
