My Story…
I am hiking a part of the historic Arizona trail that runs 800 miles from the U.S.-Mexico border (mountains near Sierra Vista) completely through Arizona into Kanab,Utah for the "AZT in a day" celebration. The Arizona Trail Adventure mission is to protect, maintain, enhance, promote, and sustain the Arizona Trail as a unique encounter with the land.
Description
AZT in a Day is an October tradition that engages the public to hike, bike, ride, or run the entire length of the Arizona Trail (AZT) from Mexico to Utah in one day. This 800-mile team challenge raises awareness and funds to fulfill the Arizona Trail Association's mission: to protect, maintain, enhance, promote and sustain the Arizona Trail as a unique encounter with the natural environment.
