Help Michael raise money

For participating in AZT in a Day 2024

My Story…

This “branch” of the Arizona Trail Association VETS Program, dubbed Fox Squad, is made possible in part by a federal grant from the National Forest Service—enabling veterans to gain valuable hard and soft trail-building skills through more profound backcountry experiences—all while helping to improve the overall user experience on the Arizona National Scenic Trail. Unlike other volunteer opportunities with the ATA, members of Fox Squad are paid contractors for our organization. As such, our team's success isn't measured by volunteer hours but by miles of positively impacted trails.

Description

AZT in a Day is an October tradition that engages the public to hike, bike, ride, or run the entire length of the Arizona Trail (AZT) from Mexico to Utah in one day. This 800-mile team challenge raises awareness and funds to fulfill the Arizona Trail Association's mission: to protect, maintain, enhance, promote and sustain the Arizona Trail as a unique encounter with the natural environment. Check out the ATA's programs on their website: www.aztrail.org

Support me as I support the trail! My goal is to raise $800--one dollar for each mile of the Arizona Trail. All donations are 100% tax-deductible and go directly to supporting the Arizona Trail Association.
