Growing up, after-school programs and memberships for paid sports and physical activities were financially out of reach for me. This lack of access meant I didn't develop an appreciation for moving my body, leading to struggles with body dysmorphia and disordered eating. As an adult, Fast and Female's events and programs have been transformative for me, allowing me to relearn and enjoy physical movement. Now, I have the exciting opportunity to help my daughter develop a love for moving her body sustainably and enjoyably.
