Raise money for Central Gardens
For over 50 years the Central Gardens Association’s mission has been to sustain and enhance the quality of our historic neighborhood by preserving its environmental and architectural character and to encourage a sense of community among its residents.
Our board uses donations like yours to fund projects that help support the Association’s overall mission. Some current projects include:
Lighting alleys for added security, replanting and maintenance of the landscaping in our shared greenspaces (on Cleveland, Avalon, York, Belvedere), the commission of a welcome mural to the Avalon facing side of 1607 Union Ave, replacing historic street tiles, working with to create a pedestrian friendly corridor on Harbert, adding and maintaining dog waste stations (with the assistance of homeowners), replacing signage throughout the neighborhood, and so much more. We do all of this without being an HOA with mandatory membership. We fundraise for everything. Sponsoring and donating is a great way to show that you are a partner and that you support our neighborhood. We will continue the work to maintain our neighborhood as the best historic neighborhood in midtown and your sponsorship and donations will help. This is good for all of us.
