Run, walk and play in massive colourful bubble bogs through a 2.5k or 5k course.
Bubble Chase is a run with a major twist! Start in a sea of bubbles and encounter 4 bubble bogs filled with masses of colourful bubbles and music to keep the party going. Bubble Chase is an entertaining race for the whole family, so everyone can have the time of their life.

Youth tickets are for 18 and under. PARTICIPANT KIT: Entry Wristband, Bubble Chase Medal -(Participants 10 and under must be accompanied by a ticketed adult). Strollers are permitted. Infants under 1 Years old do not need a purchased ticket with their parents.

Event Location and Start Times!
Bubble Chase 5k will be held on Saturday, July 20th, 2024 starting waves begins at 10 am and the following waves start every 15 min after.
Location: Capilano Park Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T6A 3R7 (Starting up at the ball Diamond)
Parking And Directions
Parking is free in and around the Park.
Running With Children
Participants who are 13 and under must be accompanied by a participating adult (18+). Wheelchairs, strollers and pushchairs are permitted on course, however, please note that the terrain on the course may vary. (Hills, roads, pathways, grass, unpaved trails). If pushing strollers or wheelchairs it is important that the head of the participant in the stroller or wheelchairs is above the bubbles at all times. Note the bubbles will vary in height and it is the responsibility of the person pushing the stroller or wheelchair to mind the safety and comfort of the passenger. Each city will have a unique course as no two locations will be the same. The Airdrie course will be a 2.5k course that participants can do one or more times. This means more bubbles for those who choose to run the course two times or more. If you wish to only run one lap of the course you will still receive the finishers medal.
Safety First
Faster runners please keep to the left when running through the bubble bogs. Participants that are walking and with strollers, etc. keep to the right. If running with small children it is a good idea to hold children's hands as you go through the bubbles. No stopping in the bubbles, if you stop in the bubble you can be hidden from others that are running through the bubble bog. Please at all times have your race bib attached to you as this is how we know you're a participant in the run. If you need assistance on the course look for race volunteers and ask for assistance.
Refunds
There will be no refunds for tickets purchased. Transfer of tickets will need to be done online.
Event Cancellation
Events can be canceled for unforeseen circumstances. As the most common reason for cancellation is weather for most events we are dedicated to moving forward with an event as long as it is deemed safe to do so. Regardless of the reason for the cancellation, our cancellation policy is as follows: Cancellation notification- Participants and volunteers will receive an email notification within two hours of the decision made to cancel the event. Participants will also receive an SMS notification on a cell phone if the phone number was provided to the event organizer during registration. Updates as to the event status will also be posted on Facebook event page.
Event Cancellation - Postponement!
In the event that an event is canceled for any reason, registered partisans will have the following options: Postponement to next year's event: All participants will automatically have their registration transferred to the next year's event. To activate the ticket for next year's event there will be an activation fee of $10 per ticket. We charge this fee to help cover the cost of the canceled event as a large percent of proceeds from ticket sales have already been spent. Transfer to another event: Participants can choose to attend an event in a different location within the same calendar year, there will be no transfer fee for this option.
Weather Policies
Bubble Chase will go ahead rain, shine, or snow as long as it is deemed reasonably safe to so. In case of severe weather such as lightning extreme winds and rain, the event will first be delayed until the weather clears, or postponed until the next day or rescheduled for another day, or cancelled altogether.
While we aim to move forward with the event, if possible we reserve the right to alter components of the event or course to address any safety concerns, or potentially delay, postpone or cancel the event. Also while we desire not to cancel the event our facility and/or municipalities may force the cancellation of the event.
