Gun and Chip Time
- Gun Time is the OFFICIAL time for the Top Men and Top Women Overall winner, in each event. All top awards and finishing positions are based on the time from the start of the race (GUN) to when the runner crosses the finish line as per World Athletics, Athletics Canada, and Alberta Athletics standards.
- CHIP time is the OFFICIAL time for the Age Category awards. The Top Men and Top Women Overall winner in each event are ineligible for age category awards.
