My Story…
Hello everyone, thank you for visiting my donation page!
I want to take a moment to highlight that supporting the Distress Centers of Greater Toronto's spotlight event, The Walk to End Suicide, allows us to continue to provide our life-saving programs and services.
Our aim is to ensure all service users feel valued and supported. By donating, you are not just contributing financially, but also helping to break the stigma surrounding mental health while creating a safer environment for those who are struggling.
Every dollar counts! Together, let's invest in the health and resilience of our society by supporting mental health and suicide prevention initiatives.
With thanks,
Amira Al-Harazi Patwa
Description
Thank you for your generous support of our third annual Walk to End Suicide event. Since we launched this event in 2022, we have been overwhelmed by the support our community has shown in supporting our critically needed, free mental health programs and services.
This event shines a light on World Suicide Prevention Day (Tuesday September 10, 2024) and continues to highlight action that will help reduce the number of suicides and suicide attempts globally, along with continuing to de-stigmatize mental health.
Though the event is just one day, your support resonates every day for those in need.
Thanks again,
Robert Ridge
