My Story…
I lost my 13 year old daughter to suicide this year. Danica was in grade 8. She was so young. She did not graduate from middle school, attend high school, experience her first love. So many things she was not able to experience.
I will never get over the loss. This is a non-profit group helping me and many others through our grief.
My goal is to help the distress centre of greater toronto to raise awareness and provide support for those who need it. Please help by donating to the walk to end suicide on September 18th.
Description
Thank you for your generous support of our third annual Walk to End Suicide event. Since we launched this event in 2022, we have been overwhelmed by the support our community has shown in supporting our critically needed, free mental health programs and services.
This event shines a light on World Suicide Prevention Day (Tuesday September 10, 2024) and continues to highlight action that will help reduce the number of suicides and suicide attempts globally, along with continuing to de-stigmatize mental health.
Though the event is just one day, your support resonates every day for those in need.
Thanks again,
Robert Ridge
