It’s that time of year again! I’m asking you to help my team “Captain Westside and the Health Heroes” raise funds for the 34th Annual 5K-10K The Westside Way scheduled for November 9, 2024. As most of you know, I retired in 2023 from my role as CEO, but rest assured, I continue to do all I can to support Westside, and Chris Fraser, the new CEO. In our newly released children’s book, Captain Westside showed young Carmen how to stay healthy, be courageous, and feel confident. In the end, young Carmen learned how to become a health hero herself taking over for Captain Westside. This year I would like to hand over the funds I raise for my team to our new CEO Health Hero Chris, and add the funds raised to his team “Fraser’s Fleet” on behalf of Captain Westside (me!).
