Raise money for VIA Centers for Neurodevelopment
VIA Centers for Neurodevelopment is dedicated to helping people overcome the challenges of autism and other related neurodevelopmental disabilities through compassionate, evidence-based programs. All of VIA’s services are designed to support individuals to live, work, and play to the fullest in their communities.

Since our founding 28 years ago, VIA has grown from a small school started by families desperate to find effective education for their children with autism to one of the leading providers for individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities in Virginia. VIA serves approximately 500 families annually through our locations in Charlottesville, Roanoke, Lynchburg, and Lexington. VIA offers the following programs:
School Services: VIA Day Schools serve as an extension of the public school system, offering clinical and educational services to our students experiencing the most severe and challenging symptoms of autism and related neurodisabilities. Our unique 1:1 staff-to-student model allows us to individualize our programs to support each student in reaching goals while building on their strengths and interests.
Adult Services: Whether it is building social, vocational, or independent living skills, our programs are designed to support adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities. We offer job coaching, behavioral consultation, and daily, center-based programs to enhance daily living, vocational, and relationship-building skills and connections.
Behavioral Health Services: For our youngest clients, the Behavioral Health Services team provides families with diagnostic services, early intervention programs, social skills groups, sibling support groups, caregiver coaching, and speech therapy. Early intervention is critical for helping children build the skills they need to be included in their communities.
VIA is delighted to have been chosen by Virginia Tech’s Chapter of Theta Delta Chi as the benefactor of the Flutie 5K run. This will allow us to strengthen our footprint in the community and our mission and vision for our programs. VIA is equipped to address the unique learning challenges of individuals and help them reach their full potential.
