Our story…
As CEO of United Way Greater Los Angeles, I'm continuously inspired by the resilience and strength of our community, but I’m also acutely aware of the challenges many neighbors face. 40% of households in Los Angeles County struggle to cover basic needs such as food, housing, transportation, or childcare. It's a gut-wrenching reality that underscores the urgency of our mission.
I'm excited to participate in WalkUnitedLA co-hosted by the Los Angeles Rams. Our annual event is a powerful symbol of unity and solidarity as we take collective steps toward ending poverty and creating prosperity.
And because WalkUnitedLA coincides with Mother's Day weekend, we have a special opportunity to honor the incredible mothers and mother figures in our lives!
