My Story…
I have been a chronic migraine sufferer for almost 4 years. I’m a wife, mom and 15 year educator. I have become completely disabled from this disease. It took 3 years for me to be referred to headache specialist. My new care team is diligently trying all treatment options to manage my illness. But the fact is chronic migraine is incurable. I am walking in miles for migraine on June 2nd in Chicago, IL to raise funds for grossly underfunded migraine research and clinical trials to cure this awful disease that affects 40 million of us!
When I signed up to walk in Chicago's Miles for Migraine event I found out all the fundraising proceeds go to MY doctor, Dr. Diamond at Diamond Fellowship in Headache Medicine! My goal is to raise $2000 for migraine research and you can help me get there!
