My Story…
In August 2023, after a routine breast MRI, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 invasive lobular carcinoma in my left breast and lymph nodes. While I knew I was high risk for breast cancer due to having the PALB-2 gene, this came as a shock. I felt healthy and strong and had no symptoms. We are participating in this race to support all women who have battled breast cancer, but particularly those who have been affected due to hereditary cancer genes, such as PALB-2.
