My Story…
I'm competing in my first-ever triathlon! After a year of hard work, I'm 55 pounds lighter (and counting!) and abundantly stronger. To celebrate my health journey, I've chosen to participate in the SheSprints triathlon on September 7.
The SheSprints Triathlon benefits Hope Chest, and organization that provides specialized sweatshirts to women facing mastectomy surgery.
These sweatshirts are delivered prior to their surgery to handle post-surgery drains. In the past two years, Hope Chest has delivered sweatshirts to women in 32 states across the nation and six different countries. The charity is also fully supporting three Colorado hospitals.
