My Story
Turning 50 this year has made me more aware of my health and fitness so i decided to train amd run 5k for the first time since middle school. I am an animal lover and have always loved the Toronto Zoo and how they care for the animals so this run not only fulfills my goal of running 5k at 50, it is also an opportunity to raise funds for the zoo and the animals 🥰
Description
With a goal of $75,000, funds raised from this year’s event will continue to support your Zoo’s efforts to preserve endangered species, breed, and reintroduce endangered animals into the wild, and create opportunities to reconnect people with nature. Additionally, 50% of funds raised will support the International Rhino Foundation through the Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy’s Wilding Endangered Species Fund, furthering your Toronto Zoo’s conservation efforts worldwide.
