I have beaten breast cancer two times. The support of friends, family and total strangers made those experiences far less scary. Because of the people who were there for me, I was able to make it through the rough times of treatment and those people were there to celebrate the successes with me. Join the Journey, with its mission to providing support and education for survivors of all types of cancer, is an invaluable resource to those who are diagnosed with cancer and the people who love them. Join us for the walk to show your support and please consider making a donation. Your donations are used to help people in this geographic area. Very little is used for administrative expenses, given that there is only one paid employee who works part time. Even the head of Join the Journey is a volunteer position.
